SCPlugin is back!

For those who didn’t know, SCPlugin, the great Subversion plugin for Finder in OS X is out in Universal Binary. I tried to install the old PowerPC version on my Intel MacBook Pro before, but couldn’t get it to work under Rosetta. I’m glad to see that SCPlugin is under active development again. It’s an awesome tool!

Montreal might not be dead after all!

Startup and business 1 Comment »

This morning, I had the pleasure to attend the Montreal Technology Entrepreneur Breakfast Meetup in Montreal. It was organized by Ben Yoskovitz, a Montreal entrepreneur I didn’t know until this morning.

Many people know what I think of Montreal regarding technology and startups: it’s bad! Nothing’s happening!, it’s dead! However, this morning, you could definitely feel a certain vibe and energy; the kind of entrepreneurial spirit I have never felt in Montreal before! I met many very interesting people you would not suspect meeting in Montreal; people who’ve done it before, and people who’ve got the passion and skills to become successful. Where were all the guys before? I don’t know, but it’s great to see that the Montreal community if finally coming together.

Anyways, I unfortunately didn’t have a chance to talk to everybody, so please, drop me a line so we can introduce ourselves. I am definitely looking forward to the next meetup!

A little about me: My previous company (that I founded) got acquired a few months ago and I’m working on another project. I am looking for talented people to work with. I run ajaxwhois.com, a pet project that should not be taken too seriously, and I also occasionally blog. I recently spent a lot of time in Silicon Valley and have many good connections there.

Vista? yawn…
